The house features three bedrooms one full bath and one bath with shower on suite as well as a full galley kitchen, which is stocked with dishes and cookware. There’s a pool, spa, fire pit, private enclosed yard/courtyard with mature landscaping, a cactus garden and is pet friendly.

The Bowie House is decorated with an and eclectic mix of antiques and modern furniture and features open beam ceilings and a ‘hippy chic’ color pallet. The backyard is spacious and private and includes a kidney shaped pool and spa, a mature cactus garden and landscaping, outdoor dining for 16, and a gas BBQ and fire pit. The quiet neighborhood is comprised of over one hundred and fifty modern homes most of which retain their original design. Permit # 3966.

Guests will have complete access to all living areas of the house, yard and pool and spa if so equipped.

Architecturally historic area adjacent to a public golf course. The neighborhood is comprised of modern homes most of which retain their original design.



Down Town Palm Springs is about 5 minutes by car. Casinos and the El Paseo shopping district are 30. The massive Factory Outlet Mall is an easy 30-minute drive and Joshua Tree State Park is about a 60-minute drive and is worth the trip if you have never visited the park. The nearest bus stop is about a 2-minute walk, the fare is $1. Taxis, Uber, Lyft, and car services are readily available. Shopping for essentials is nearby but may be beyond walking distance for most. Overall, a car would be best and both driveway and free street parking is available.

We also have homes and cabins available in Yucca Valley and Idyllwild that we offer at a discount to our guests in the event that you want to do an overnight excursion to the State Park or local Mountains.

Pool side or in room Massages by a Certified Massage Therapist are available – prices vary. 



Pet Pick Up Service 

We offer a clean-up service for $10 a day per animal. 



Pool Heating/Cleaning 

2 days’ notice is required for pool heating (85f/30c). The charge for this is $50 per day. Please note all of our pools are cleaned twice a week and most have robotic sweepers as well (you may remove the sweeper if equipped during your stay – at your discretion). If you would like daily pool cleaning this can be arranged with advanced notice at an additional cost.



Acceptance of terms 

We are accommodating, easy going and hope that you are as well. By accepting your reservation, you agree to abide by all house rules and acknowledge that all damages, losses or fines incurred during your stay, including those caused by individuals or pets that were invited or given access to the property are your responsibility. 



Children 

Children are 100% welcome but there are no pool or spa fences or pool alarms at any of our rentals so our properties may not be suitable for younger children/non-swimmers. 



Decorations 

Any party decorations or banners need to be hung with removable adhesive hooks or low tack painters tape. No thumbtacks, Scotch tape or holes in the walls or ceilings please. 



Furniture 

If for any reason you need to move furniture it is your responsibility to move it back to its original location prior to check out. Please do not place lounge chairs or furniture on any of the synthetic turf or putting greens (where applicable). 



Noise 

Please do not create excessive noise or disturbances or engage in disorderly conduct. Consider how you would want your neighbors to behave in your own neighborhood. A little consideration goes a long way and we ask you to please observe the following City Noise Regulations for Vacation Rentals. Amplified music is not allowed outside of the home. Music may not be heard at the property lines at any time of the day (that includes music coming from inside of the home). Please, don’t bring the speakers outside – if your neighbors can hear music – you are in violation of the City Ordinance. Please keep voices and pool activities at a reasonable level. Night time hours are between 10pm and 10am. Please move indoors after 10pm. If you choose to be outside, please be considerate of the neighbors and use indoor voices. Please remember our neighborhoods are quiet, surrounded by mountains and sound easily carries. A call from the neighbors to the City will bring the Vacation Rental Compliance Officers to your door and the officers will issue you a citation if you exceed the allowed noise levels or if another violation is observed. So please, keep the noise down and be considerate neighbors. 



Occupancy/Parties/Events 

Maximum occupancy is indicated on this listing (two persons per room/bedroom). If you would like to invite more guests for parties, events or photo shoots pre-approved arrangements are required all requests for parties, events or photo shoots must include the total number of guests and be made in writing. 



Parking 

Only one vehicle per bedroom is allowed at any given time. Utilize driveway and/or garage when parking your vehicle before using street parking. And never block any driveway or street access. 



Pets 

Pets are always welcome but we do ask that you clean up after them and make sure they don't damage any furniture, etc. Pets are not allowed on any synthetic grass areas or putting greens. 



Smoking 

Smoking is permitted in outdoor areas only, although vaping is ok indoors. All of our properties are Cannabis friendly but all smoking rules apply. 



Trash 

Please do not store trash and refuse within public view, except in proper containers for the purpose of collection. If the bins are full please leave any excess trash in the garage or backyard when checking out. Please do not leave trash or recycling at the curb.

Cancellation Policy
For cancellations more than 90 days from the reservation check in date 75% of the contract amount is refundable.

For cancellations, less than 90 days from the reservation check in date 50% of the contract amount is refundable.

Cancellations less than 30 days from the reservation check in date result in forfeiture of any rental amounts paid (security deposit and cleaning fees are refunded to renter).

Holiday and Event Reservations:
Coachella, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year Holiday periods are non-refundable after September 1st.

Early Departures, Early/Late Check-ins:
There will be no refunds for unused nights, late arrival or early departure. Early check ins and late departure and extra nights may be available for an extra charge.

Travel Insurance
We offer travel insurance to protect you in the event that unforeseen circumstances arise and we highly suggest taking advantage of the program to protect your investment.
